Published mock tests are great, but there is a problem with them: after you have sat the same few papers twice, you start remembering answers. Your score goes up, and it no longer tells you much.
That is why Aayog Guru lets you generate your own mock test. It takes one tap, and every paper is new.
How a custom mock test is built
When you create a custom mock from the mock tests page, the paper is assembled for the exam you have chosen. It follows the shape of your level's syllabus, so a Kharidar candidate gets a Kharidar-shaped paper and a Staff Nurse candidate gets questions from their own subjects. The paper is private to your account. Nobody else sees it in any listing.
There is one option worth knowing about: mix in some of my mistakes. Turn it on and the paper includes questions you have got wrong before, alongside fresh ones. It is a sneaky and very effective way to find out whether you have actually fixed a mistake or just remembered the answer for a day.
When to use a custom mock instead of a published one
- You have already sat all the published mocks for your level. A custom paper gives you new questions under the same conditions.
- You want a quick check before bed. A generated paper is ready immediately.
- You have been reviewing your mistake book. A mock with mistakes mixed in tells you if that revision worked.
- It is the final month. Sitting a fresh paper every couple of days keeps you in exam rhythm without repeating anything.
Free and Plus
Free accounts can create a small number of custom mock tests every week. Aayog Guru Plus removes that limit, so you can generate one whenever you want. If you no longer need a paper, you can delete it.
A routine that works
- Sit a published mock test with negative marking on the weekend.
- During the week, practise the chapters where you lost marks, and go through your mistake book.
- Midweek, generate a custom mock with mistakes mixed in.
- Compare. If the old mistakes are coming back right, move on. If not, they stay on the list.
It is a small feature, but it solves a real problem: running out of fresh, exam-shaped practice right when you need it most.
